Friday night - meet at the Kitchen Pass in downtown Parsons. We have the dining area plus the back meeting room after 8 pm but a lot of us will be there eariler to eat dinner.

Saturday - we'll meet at Forrest Park, north pavilion. 11 a.m. till mid afternoon. Parsons Commerical Bank is providing a big grill/smoker to cook up whatever you all bring to eat. Hamburgers, chicken, ribs, steak... you bring the meat and fixin's. I'm going to bring some chickens and beans for those who travel a long ways and don't have a way to prepare or store food. We'll have some paper goods, water and tea. Bring lawn chairs and sun screen.

Saturday Evening - Parsons Country Club. 7 p.m. $10 per person admitance. Hor D'oeuves will be served along with tea and water. Open Bar. And I've heard there's a dance floor (Jane, Dana, Kristie, Martha and Kim) and a mic for Pam.

Golfers- We're going to participate in a 2-man scramble at the Katy golf course on Friday. Play anytime during the day, no start times. Fees are as follows:

$8.00 per player, 3.00 goes to the Katy Golf Assc.  5.00 goes into the pot.  Low and middle split the pot. (20 teams, $200, $100 goes to the winners).  Green fees are $15 and carts are $8 per nine ($4 per player sharing cart).

Right now, facebook is one the best vehicles to get the word out--plus communicate. What I need is for you to look over this list I have prepared and add anyone in our class you know of, their contact information, so that we can all be on the same page. Also, there are some who aren't on facebook. I can post everything on http://parsonsvikings.com/ again. I don't plan on mailing anything out unless I get mailing addresses and it’s the only way to contact people. I could even call them if I get phone numbers. . . it’s cheaper than a stamp! I would, though, like to put something in the Parsons Sun like I did last spring. I know several people said that that was the way they heard about it.

I don't want to leave anyone out. Please spread the word.
